Marine Fuels Suppliers - Middle East, Indian sub continent and Peru
Avin International Bunkers Supply started business in 1978, supplying bunkers in the Saudi Arabian port of Jeddah, through its local operator, National Bunkering Co.
A second and more complex supply operation was added in the United Arab Emirates, where offshore bunkering facilities were put in place off Fujairah, locally operated by Fujairah National Bunkering Co.
Depot ships, supply a fleet of tanker barges, which deliver bunkers to the vessels waiting for employment at this busy anchorage area, at the mouth of the Middle East Gulf.
The group's oil tankers shuttle back and forth with cargo for the re-supply of the depot ship. Bunker quality is assured by sourcing oil from reliable producers.
In 1999, the activities of the Group's bunker trading company, International Marine Sales (IMS), were incorporated into the Avin operation.
Through this merger with IMS, Avin now also acts as the Government contracted supplier for the Indian sub continent. Bunker supplies are offered in Pakistan, India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.
In South America, Avin is a contracted supplier for Petroleos del Peru, servicing the busy port of Callao.
